Getting there: 14 Lilli Pilli Road, Batemans Bay

Most international visitors would be arriving into Sydney [Airport: "SYD"] and then either take the bus south to Batemans Bay [See http://www.premierms.com.au/ for details] the buses stop at either airport terminal, but typically only twice a day, so book before you fly. Otherwise, you would rent a car in Sydney and drive South on highway 1 to Batemans Bay.

Another option (that costs a little more for international travellers) is to fly into Canberra [airport: "CBR"] which lessens the drive time down to about 1 3/4 Hrs. Domestic visitor should not this - as there are commonly direct flights into CNB rather than coming down from Sydney.

2008 New South Wales School Holidays:

When you are planning your visit, keep in mind when the school kids are on holidays - go to this website to see the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS schedule.
If the kids are on holidays, the population in Batemans Bay (especially in warmer times) is at least DOUBLED over non-school holidays.
So if you like it quiet, stay away during the school holiday periods...
